Volunteering!

Volunteers have been central to this community's library. Applications are available at the circulation desk. We will do everything we can to match your interests to our volunteer needs.

Examples of ways volunteers help us include:          Alta Volunteering

  • Making copies
  • Assisting with childrens programs

Friends of the Waldport Library

Being a friend is another great way to support your library. The Friends of the Waldport Public Library have been active since 1995. A non-profit organization with 501(C3) status, their purpose is to strengthen, expand and focus attention on library services, facilities and needs.

Some recent examples of contributions include:

  • Raising funds for the library remodeling
  • Purchase of audio books
  • Maintaining photo copy machine
  • Raising funds for Summer Reading Program
